This was a fun assignment. I really like working with both typography and photography so this was perfect. The edits were minimal on the images. I chose Helvetica Neue because I seem to really like it right now and it’s simple elegance seemed to compliment the rough texture of the wood and worn hinges. Garamond Regular went along with the feeling created by Helvetica Neue but with a bit more substance. By having it smaller it became a sort of bridge between the title and the image.
